Additional Policies and FAQs
My jewellery is crafted using base metals, mostly brass though it can be copper, steel, or mixed metal alloy.
The base metal is either plated, oxidized or raw.
My strong suggestion is to always store your jewellery in an air tight zip lock bag. The more exposure metals have to the air the faster they wear. If you are not wearing your jewellery always keep it stored. I certainly would not recommend displaying jewellery on racks or in open air. I stress this more with plated metals as they generally can't be cleaned regularly without affecting the plating.
Raw or oxidized brass can develop a greenish patina. This can easily be removed by wiping the area with a damp cloth.
Keep your jewellery away from chemicals and moisture/water as much as possible.
